All of School District U-46 is invited to participate in the One Book, One District, One Author event to celebrate literacy. Our book is The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros. This is a community-wide reading event. South Elgin High School will have copies of the book available in the library for checkout. There will be a high school contest for best bookmark design and a book discussion at the end of April. Details and templates for the bookmark contest are in the library. |
