Beginning September 14, 2009, Larsen Middle School, both students and staff, will be reading the book 'Seedfolks," by Paul Fleischman. Thirteen different voices tell the story of how a garden transforms a vacant lot into a hope-filled neighborhood project. It is an excellent novel about community awareness and social sensitivity. Make sure and pick up a copy in the Learning Center. We have lots of activities planned to celebrate the book's message of community building and responsibility.
